Crown of Thorns

Crown of Thorns is a resilient and visually striking succulent known for its distinctive appearance and vibrant blooms. This evergreen shrub features thick, fleshy stems covered in sharp thorns, hence its name. The leaves are small and inconspicuous, serving as a backdrop to the main attraction – the colorful bracts surrounding the tiny flowers. Crown of Thorns is prized for its long-lasting and showy displays of red bracts, adding a burst of color to gardens and indoor spaces. Native to Madagascar, this succulent is well-suited for warm climates and thrives in well-draining soil with ample sunlight. Crown of Thorns is drought-tolerant and relatively low-maintenance, making it a popular choice for those seeking an eye-catching and hardy plant for their garden or as a potted specimen indoors.
