Cross Foundry Rollerball Pen - Blue

The Cross Foundry Rollerball Pen in Glossy Translucent Blue Lacquer with Polished Chrome Appointments is the collection's most expressive finish — a pen that carries the Foundry's story of craftsmanship and transformation in a color that shifts between deep sapphire and luminous aqua depending on the light, creating a barrel that draws the eye and holds it with rare, understated drama. Named in honor of the historic Cross Foundry building and the artisan tradition it represents, the Foundry collection was built to elevate an established Cross classic through refined upgrades, balanced feel, and distinctive finishes. The translucent blue lacquer achieves both with its glossy, jewel-like depth complemented by polished chrome clip and appointments — a combination that projects personality and polish in equal measure. Cross's exclusive gel ink rollerball formula operates behind the snap-on cap with the expressive fluidity of a fountain pen, delivering richly saturated lines from the first stroke with virtually no pressure required. For writers who prefer flexibility, the Foundry's design accepts ballpoint and felt-tip refills interchangeably alongside the included gel rollerball tip, adapting the pen's ink style to any writing occasion without a new instrument. Pre-loaded with a black gel ink tip (#8523), gift-boxed in a standard Cross presentation box, and backed by Cross's lifetime mechanical warranty, the Translucent Blue Foundry Rollerball is a standout daily pen and a distinctly personal gift. Features Glossy Translucent Blue Lacquer Barrel: The jewel-toned, light-shifting blue lacquer finish creates a visually compelling barrel with genuine depth and luminosity — a personality-forward design choice that remains thoroughly professional and wholly distinctive in any writing context. Polished Chrome Appointments: A polished chrome clip, cap ring, and fittings provide crisp, clean contrast against the translucent blue body — completing a pen that feels deliberately composed rather than assembled, with every finish choice working in purposeful harmony. Exclusive Gel Ink Rollerball Formula: Cross's proprietary gel rollerball ink flows with the richness and expressiveness of a fountain pen — deeply pigmented black lines that start immediately on contact, require almost no pressure, and remain consistent across every paper surface. Snap-On Cap for Reliable Tip Protection: The snap-on cap keeps the gel tip protected from drying out during travel and storage while providing fast, single-motion access during active writing sessions — practical tip care that doesn't interrupt the writing rhythm. Multi-Style Refill Versatility: The Foundry Translucent Blue Rollerball accepts Cross gel rollerball, ballpoint, and porous felt-tip refills interchangeably, offering three distinct writing experiences within a single distinctive instrument — no additional pen purchase required. Standard Cross Gift Box & Lifetime Mechanical Warranty: Delivered in a standard Cross gift box and protected by Cross's unconditional lifetime mechanical warranty, this translucent blue pen is a genuinely memorable gift for professionals, graduates, and anyone who values fine writing instruments with a distinctive point of view.
