Cross Foundry Ballpoint Pen - Medalist

The Cross Foundry Ballpoint Pen in Polished Chrome with PVD Gold Appointments is a pen that understands its own character — the sort of instrument that doesn't announce itself loudly but makes itself unmistakably known the moment it's picked up. Named in tribute to the historic Cross Foundry building and the elemental tradition of shaping metal into enduring form, the Foundry Ballpoint embodies that same deliberate craftsmanship in every line and surface. Polished chrome and PVD gold may sound familiar as a pairing, but here Cross executes it with the restraint and proportion that separates a well-designed pen from a merely attractive one. The mirror-bright barrel draws the hand naturally, while the warm gold clip and appointments provide an accent of genuine distinction without tipping into excess. Cross's swivel-action propel/repel mechanism deploys the medium ballpoint tip with precise, controlled motion, and specially formulated Cross ink flows immediately from first contact — delivering consistent, skip-free lines through meetings, signatures, and long writing sessions without hesitation or pooling. Arriving pre-loaded with a black medium refill (#8513) and packaged in a standard Cross gift box, the Foundry Chrome Gold Ballpoint fits immediately into any professional context. Compatible with all standard Cross ballpoint refills in multiple ink colors and widths, and protected by Cross's lifetime mechanical warranty, this pen is designed to be used and to last. Features Polished Chrome Body with PVD Gold Appointments: A two-tone combination of mirror-bright polished chrome and warm gold PVD clip and fittings produces a refined, sophisticated presence in any professional setting — a pen that reads as both contemporary and considered. Swivel-Action Propel/Repel Mechanism: Cross's precision twist-action mechanism deploys and retracts the medium ballpoint tip smoothly and reliably, protecting the nib from ink marks in pockets and bags while keeping the pen ready to write with a single rotation. Specially Formulated Cross Ballpoint Ink: Cross's proprietary ink starts immediately on first contact with paper and flows consistently without skipping, pooling, or bleed-through — dependable performance that holds up across paper types, writing angles, and session lengths. Standard Cross Refill Compatibility: Ships pre-loaded with a black medium ballpoint refill (#8513) and accepts all standard Cross ballpoint refills in multiple colors and line widths, giving the writer flexibility and longevity within a single, beautifully finished instrument. Balanced Weight and Daily Writing Comfort: Engineered with refined weight distribution and smooth writing technology, the Foundry Ballpoint reduces hand fatigue during extended note-taking and document signing — a pen built for daily use, not occasional display. Standard Cross Gift Box & Lifetime Mechanical Warranty: Presented in a standard Cross gift box and covered by Cross's unconditional lifetime mechanical warranty, this polished chrome-and-gold ballpoint makes a complete, polished gift for professionals, first-time Cross owners, and every milestone that deserves a quality writing instrument.
