Cromwell IV (sandshields)

The Cromwell IV (sandshields) was a British cruiser tank variant used during World War II, featuring additional sandshields for protection against dust and debris in desert or rugged environments. Retaining the 75mm gun and high mobility of the standard Cromwell IV, this version was particularly effective in maintaining operational readiness in harsh conditions. The sandshields helped preserve the tank’s mechanical reliability, making it well-suited for fast-moving operations across varied terrains.
