Crochet Pattern: Llama Planter

An adorable, mini llama planter crochet pattern! Your llama will safely carry your tiny plant wherever you you want to go. :) This mini planter is perfect for baby succulents and air plants. It will hold a pot between 2 and 2.5 inches in diameter. Your llama's head is quite heavy, so I recommend a ceramic pot, to increase the weight. Otherwise you can buy a giant washer from a home improvement store to put underneath the pot.  Pattern level: advanced (or ambitious) beginner. Must be comfortable sewing on small pieces, working in the round, and embroidering facial features. This pattern will not teach you how. Sizes included: one size, fits little baby 2-2.5 inch pots Materials needed: - worsted (weight 4) yarn (two strands held together for most of the pattern). - 6.5mm hook - yarn needle - pom poms - If housing a plastic nursery pot: a weight at the bottom (not necessary if using a heavier clay pot) What you will receive: A PDF written in English, using US crochet terms, with instructions on how to make this llama planter. This is not a finished item, you will receive nothing in the mail. All paid patterns come with email support, shoot me a message via the contact page if you are having trouble!
