Crimson Wild Birch Forest 10x22

“Crimson Wild Birch Forest” by Katie Sevigny  In Crimson Wild Birch Forest, Katie Sevigny transforms a forest scene into a vivid dreamscape, where nature pulses with emotion and energy. Slender birch trees rise in rhythmic formation, their iconic white bark etched with dark markings that guide the eye through layers of depth. The forest floor bursts with unexpected hues—fiery orange, deep violet, and golden yellow—creating a surreal contrast against the cooler greens and reds of the distant woods. Above, a canopy of swirling branches and leaves in warm pinks and reds evokes the fleeting beauty of fall. With expressive brushwork and bold color choices, Sevigny invites viewers into a world where the familiar becomes fantastical, and the changing seasons mirror the inner landscape of memory and imagination.
