Crew Shirt - Off-White

W'Menswear was founded by Lauren Yates in 2015, born out of a desire to produce high quality, heritage-inspired garments for women - with a nuanced and ever-evolving perspective on femininity at the intersections of fashion, workwear, military garments, and history. Originally operating out of a converting shipping container in Bangkok, the brand has grown substantially with each new collection, employing specialty and custom fabrics as well as partnering with local workshops & artisans. The F/W '23 collection, titled "Flying in Crosswinds", pays homage in part to Margaret "Maggie" Gee, a physicist and pilot, and one of the only two Chinese-American women to fly as a Women's Airforce Service Pilot (WASP) in WWII. These styles explore the way clothes have been used to reinforce and resist different political ideologies - repurposing and reimagining military styles into functional and flattering workwear. The Crew Shirt is an oversized A-line work shirt with two chest pockets, snap closures, and an easy fit. Cut with roomy armholes and a relaxed waist, it's comfortable and unrestrictive, with a very natural drape. The off-white edition is made from an organic cotton ripstop, milled in Japan, with a subtle surface texture and breathable weave. Wash cold and hang dry. 100% organic cotton Ripstop fabric milled in Japan A-line cut Snap buttons Two chest pockets Relaxed fit Wash cold and hang dry Custom woven labels Made in Thailand
