He has played a major role in the development of some of the most popular models in the industry and his innovations have set the standard for features on fishing kayaks. A SPECIALIZED HULL DESIGN MASTERFULLY BALANCES SIZE AND PERFORMANCE The hull of the Smallie blends its  small size and lightweight construction to create incredible performance.  The  rocker profile is agile in tighter water. Our bulbous nose adds volume to keep the bow riding high through rough conditions and adds the ability to handle the weight of bow mounted motors without plunging. Additional volume to outside chines makes for quicker second stability engagement and greater stability. The compressed keel reduces draft for shallower water navigation. A pronounced keel at the stern ensures excellent tracking in open water. A Power-Ready Throw and Go EVOLUTION THROUGH INTEGRATION AND CUSTOMIZATION—EXPLORE FURTHER, FISH HARDER. The Smallie’s bow and stern feature custom landings for direct motor and power pole mounting—no extra plates or spacers needed. The kayak comes pre-plumbed with internal tubing for foot-controlled steering, utilizing Crescent’s new steering system. The Smallie sets the standard for a modern throw-and-go kayak. Specialized Fishing The Next Evolution In Crescent's Platform Specialized Fishing focuses on systems catered to fishing, making a Crescent angler's experience on the water more efficient. With Drew's input and knowledge, we're able to incorporate innovative designs into our platform and push what gives a fishing kayak value.
