Creeping Thyme

Creeping Thyme checks all the boxes when it comes to great garden plants: beautiful, useful in the landscape, deliciously edible, evergreen, easy to grow, and supportive of pollinators. What's not to love? A low-maintenance perennial ground cover with a fragrant scent, Creeping Thyme is often used to cover spaces between pavers and stepping stones, where it forms dense mats and tolerates neglect and dry conditions. A tasty culinary herb, it can also be used in all the ways that regular thyme is: in stews, salad dressings, and on roasted vegetables. On top of all that, Creeping Thyme's diminutive pink flowers attract butterflies, honey bees, and wild bees. It's truly a multipurpose plant that deserves a home in every garden.
