Creed Fragaria

Fragaria is Creed’s 2025 new launch, a Millésime creation that leans into fruity-floral territory but with Creed’s signature craftsmanship. It aims for a scent that’s playful, youthful, and warm—drawing you in with juicy fruit then settling with elegant woods.  Notes & Composition Top notes: Bergamot, Mandarin, Pink Pepper  Heart (middle): Strawberry, Violet Accord, with orris butter playing a supporting role  Base notes: Vetiver, Cedarwood, plus a touch of fir balsam and a pink praline accord in some descriptions  Scent Journey & Impressions Opening: Fragaria starts with a bright citrus burst—bergamot and mandarin—with pink pepper giving a spicy-spark that cuts through the sweetness. The opening feels clean, energetic, almost like citrus soda with a pinch of kick.  Heart: As it dries down, strawberry becomes the focal point. It’s ripe and juicy, nostalgic in a way—childhood weekend gardens, strawberry-shortcake kind of feels—but balanced by violet (and a little orris) which adds a powdery, floral softness. Not syrupy, but distinctly fruity.  Dry-down: The sweetness mellows out into cedarwood and vetiver, giving a woody, slightly earthy foundation. There’s warmth in the base that lets the earlier fruit & florals linger without overwhelming. The woods pull things into Creed’s house signature of polished elegance.  Projection & Longevity Fragaria seems to perform moderately—stronger in its opening and heart phases, then settling down closer to skin in its woods. Reviews suggest it’s wearable through much of the day, though perhaps not as high-impact or long-lasting as Creed’s more daring niche creations. Its projection softens in the dry-down.  Vibe & Best Uses Mood: Flirty, youthful, playful, warm. Great for days when you want to feel bright, joyful. Season: Spring & summer especially, or warm weather even. Also works for spring evenings. Occasion: Casual wear, daytime, brunch or garden party vibes. Could be used for gifts—something that feels cheerful and accessible. Pros & Considerations Pros: Sweet strawberry note that’s well done—realistic, not overly fake or candy-like. Balanced by woods so it doesn’t stay purely gourmand. Fun opening with citrus & pink pepper that gives energy. Considerations: Might be too sweet for those who dislike fruity or dessert-style scents. Base and projection soften; might fade more quickly or require re-spraying if you want the scent to last into evening. Because it’s Creed, price will be high; people will compare it to similar fruity designer scents for value. Final Word Fragaria by Creed is a strawberry-kissed rose of a fragrance: bright, flirty, and warm in all the right ways. Creed has delivered a scent that feels youthful without being juvenile, sweet without being cloying, polished without losing its fun. If you want something that makes people smile, smells like summer and fruit fields, and still tucks into elegance, Fragaria is a strong contender.
