Creative Grids Curvy Log Cabin 6in

Create the illusion of curves with this six inch version of our popular Curvy Log Cabin Trim Tool. Mark the wrong side of the center square through the holes on the ruler to ensure a perfect seam allowance. Then sew a round – two narrow strips and two wide strips and trim. Add two more rounds to complete a perfect 6” finished block. Sew four blocks together to “piece” a circle which finishes to 12 inches. The cutting requirements for the center square and the narrow and wide strips are printed right on the ruler. Combine these blocks with the original Log Cabin Trim Tool Two (CGRJAW2) for unlimited design possibilities. • Easy to read black and white markings. • Strip widths and center square measurements are printed right on the tool. • One round of logs is made up of two skinny strips and two wide strips. • Each round of logs is trimmed to size before the next round is added making every block the same size when completed. • To trim, place the appropriate centering square on the ruler over the center square of the block and trim two sides. Rotate the tool and the block and use the other centering square for the same round to trim the last two sides. • Comes with fully illustrated step by step instructions. • Scan the QR Code printed on the tool to view a how-to video of these features and to see the projects that can be made with this tool. • The tool slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Then our exclusive grip holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miss-cuts. Total Size – 6-1/2in x 6-1/2in
