Cream Mayfly-14

The Mayfly - Cream is a subtle, realistic dry fly designed to imitate pale and cream-colored adult mayflies commonly encountered during summer and early fall hatches. With its slender cream body, upright wings, and balanced hackle, this pattern offers a soft, natural silhouette that excels when trout are feeding selectively on light-colored duns drifting in the surface film. Its understated coloration blends naturally into clear water, helping avoid refusals from wary fish. This pattern shines during PMD, Pale Evening Dun, and other light-toned mayfly hatches, especially in calm water and technical situations. The low-key profile makes it a strong choice when trout are rising steadily but rejecting brighter or bulkier dry flies.
