5DEV Crank Spindles

5DEV Crank Spindles are precision-machined to give riders exact control over fit, chainline, and Q-factor across a wide range of disciplines. Available in both 29mm and 30mm diameters, these spindles are designed to support road, gravel, MTB, downhill, and fat bike setups with confidence and consistency. Machined from 7075 aluminum, each spindle balances low weight with exceptional stiffness and durability. With ten length options, 5DEV spindles make it easy to dial in the correct Q-factor and chainline for your frame, crank, and drivetrain combination—whether you’re building a lightweight road setup or a wide-stance fat bike. The lineup covers everything from standard road and gravel applications to modern wide-chainline MTB standards and gravity-focused builds. Choosing the correct spindle ensures proper alignment, smooth power transfer, and long-term drivetrain reliability. 5DEV Crank Spindle Specs at a Glance Material: 7075 aluminum Diameters: 29mm or 30mm Application: Road, Gravel, MTB, DH, Fat Bike Available Spindle Lengths Road / Gravel: 118mm Road / Gravel Wide: 122mm Mountain Boost: 130mm SRAM Wide (55mm Chainline): 136mm SuperBoost+: 139mm Downhill: 145mm Fat Bike: 164mm Design Benefits Precise Fit Control: Multiple lengths let you fine-tune Q-factor and chainline.
