The Slice® Never-Lost™ safety cap solves this problem elegantly and securely. The cap twists and locks into place. This protects you when the blade is not in use and keeps the cap out of your way when you’re cutting. The handle is lightly weighted and balanced, and features a cross-hatched copper grip for superior control. The 10589 is compatible with a number of different Slice blade styles—chisels, craft blades, seam rippers—all of which feature our unique finger-friendly® edge. This means they cut effectively but are safe to the touch. This craft knife ships with a straight-edge, rounded-tip blade. As with all Slice safety blades, it is non-sparking, non-magnetic, chemically inert, and will never rust.
