Captain's Reserve: Midrats Blend

NOTE: Mug is sold separately. Built for the quiet hours between watches, Captain’s Reserve: Midrats Blend is a smooth, full-bodied blend with deep chocolate character, roasted peanut notes, and a slightly sweet, clean finish. Roast: Medium/Dark — rich enough to carry the midwatch, smooth enough for another cup, and built with the kind of body that stands up to long nights at sea. Taste: Deeply chocolaty with distinct notes of roasted peanut, a touch of sweetness, big body, and a clean, approachable finish. Whole Sailor Story: Midrats—short for midnight rations—has long been the meal that keeps the ship moving while most of the crew is asleep. It belongs to the oncoming watch, the off-going watch, and every Sailor who has ever found a little comfort under fluorescent lights with a hot plate and a full coffee urn. The menu changed from ship to ship and generation to generation. Some nights brought shepherd’s pie, sandwiches, soup, or whatever the cooks could turn into one more solid meal. Saturday nights might mean pizza and wings. Whatever was on the serving line, coffee was never far away. Captain’s Reserve: Midrats Blend carries that tradition forward with a multi-origin selection of coffees from Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Guatemala. Together, they create a smooth and complex cup with deep chocolate profile, subtle roasted peanut notes, and a slightly sweet finish. Roasted to a medium-dark profile, Midrats delivers a big body without sacrificing balance. The finish is clean, the flavor is approachable, and the cup is ready for everything from the first watch turnover to the final cleanup on the mess decks. This is Captain’s Reserve—a limited-run coffee selected for Shipmates who appreciate something beyond the standard issue. When the run is gone, it may be gone for good. No promises, no restock sea stories. Hoist a mug, grab a seat on the mess decks, and keep the watch moving with Captain’s Reserve: Midrats Blend.
