CPE 997 Carbon Ceramic Brake System

The ‘CPE 997 Carbon Ceramic Brake (CCB) System’ was engineered for drivers who demand uncompromising braking performance, reduced unsprung weight, and true motorsport-inspired confidence from their Porsche 997.  Designed around advanced carbon ceramic rotor technology, the CPE CCB system delivers exceptional thermal stability, fade resistance, and precision braking feel — whether you’re carving canyon roads, attacking a road course, or building the ultimate street-driven 911. Compared to traditional iron rotors, carbon ceramic brakes dramatically reduce rotational and unsprung mass, improving suspension response, steering precision, turn-in feel, and overall chassis dynamics.  The result is a lighter, more responsive driving experience that enhances every aspect of the 997 platform.  Porsche’s own PCCB systems are known to reduce brake weight by roughly 50% versus comparable steel setups, contributing to sharper handling and more consistent braking under extreme use.   The CPE CCB system is built to withstand repeated high-temperature braking events with minimal brake fade.  Carbon ceramic rotors maintain stable friction characteristics even during aggressive driving and repeated deceleration, providing a firm, confidence-inspiring pedal feel lap after lap.  Unlike conventional steel rotors that can suffer from heat soak and warping, carbon ceramic construction offers superior thermal resistance and long-term durability.   Beyond performance, the CPE CCB system also transforms the ownership experience.  Carbon ceramic brakes produce substantially less brake dust, helping keep wheels cleaner while reducing corrosion concerns commonly associated with traditional iron rotors.  Under normal street use, properly maintained carbon ceramic systems can last significantly longer than conventional braking systems.   Whether paired with an LSx conversion, naturally aspirated build, or turbocharged setup, the CPE 997 CCB System brings supercar-level braking capability to the Porsche chassis enthusiasts know and love.
