CP-Carrillo Piston Rings

Refresh your engine with CP-Carrillo Piston Rings, engineered for optimal performance and durability. Sold in sets by piston, these high-performance rings are available in two advanced materials tailored to meet the demands of turbocharged or naturally aspirated applications. CPN Rings CPN ring sets cater to sport compact and small-bore engines facing intense cylinder pressures. These rings are ideal for higher compression applications, featuring a 1.0mm gas-nitrided steel top ring for robust sealing, a 1.2mm Napier-style second ring for improved oil scraping, and a 2.8mm flex vent oil ring that offers optimal sealing power with minimal drag. CPN rings are also compatible with advanced cylinder coatings like Nikasil, making them versatile and resilient for modern high-performance engines. PVD Rings Perfect for high pressure turbo applications, CP-Carrillo’s PVD ring sets feature a 1.2mm steel top ring that’s PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coated, ensuring unmatched durability and a friction-reducing, ultra-smooth finish. The PVD coating outperforms traditional gas nitrided rings, delivering greater endurance and minimal cylinder wall friction. Additionally, the lightweight 2.0mm oil ring provides precise oil control, maximizing piston strength and allowing extra material on the piston ring lands for better reinforcement in forced-induction builds, or a reduced piston height for a lighter-weight NA setup.
