Cowrie Shell Charm (Medium) - Waterproof

The original beach jewelry. And she never went out of style. The cowrie shell has been worn as jewelry, used as currency, and carried as a symbol of protection and good fortune across cultures and continents for thousands of years. It is one of those rare things that has always meant something, everywhere, to everyone. And it has always been beautiful. This one takes that timeless shape and elevates it in the most perfect way. The smooth white shell body is real and organic looking, and running down the center is a ridged gold detail that catches the light in the most satisfying way, turning something you might find washed up on a beach into something that looks genuinely luxurious. White and gold together on that classic cowrie silhouette is just so right. Wear it because the ocean is your happy place and you want to carry a piece of it with you always. Layer it with the scallop shells for a full shell collection moment that is giving coastal grandmother in the absolute best possible way. Wear it because cowrie shells have always been cool and always will be and you have excellent taste. Medium size (see photo next to dime for scale) White shell body with ridged gold center detail Gold bail Charm only, no chain included (pairs beautifully with any of our chains in the charm bar) A note on "waterproof" jewelry from me, your jewelry designer: You have probably seen brands throw around the word "waterproof" and wondered if it is actually true. Honestly? As someone who has worked in jewelry for years, I do not think any jewelry is truly 100% waterproof. What I can tell you is that stainless steel with PVD coating is as close as it gets. It is the material people are talking about when they say waterproof jewelry. Shower in it, sweat in it, live your life in it. It is made to keep up with you.
