Peanut Box Squirrel Feeder

Offer curious squirrels their very own feasting haven in your backyard by placing this Coveside Peanut Box Squirrel Feeder in it. The straightforward design and clean look of this feeder adorn your landscaping with a natural and rustic appeal. A generous, 5.5" wide and 3.875" long platform extends from the base of the feeder, giving squirrels a spacious and comfortable spot to rest while they gather the food and dine. A sturdy hinge connecting to the item's back panel lets you easily lift the lid for refills, and allows squirrels to do the same. These clever mammals can spot the peanuts or other seed through the 4.25" x 4" plexiglass front; to encourage feeding, prop the lid of the reservoir open with a peanut or other small item to help these hungry rodents quickly learn to lift the lid and collect delightful treats to shell and eat. The downward slanting roof keeps water from ruining your nut or seed offerings, and pine construction will weather to a lovely gray complexion with exposure to outdoor elements and over time, creating a durable object that will transform beautifully as you use it. Angled gaps at the corners of the bottom panel allow for water drainage, preventing spoiling. Use the predrilled hole on the extended top lip to easily mount the feeder to a tree or post for a bucolic and wonderful backyard display. For thorough cleaning, the plexiglass panel slides easily upward and out of grooves, letting you access the entirety of the feeding space for care and upkeep.
