Basic Bluebird Trail Box

Add a comfortable and safe avian roosting spot to your backyard by placing this Coveside Basic Bluebird Trail Box in it. This essential abode is designed to suit bluebirds, giving these feathered favorites the shelter they need to thrive and maintain their populations. With 0.75” thick, sustainably grown eastern white pine construction, this naturally appealing box serves as a durable and staunch option that helps prevent overheating, and the rough finish of the wood gives fledglings a secure foothold when moving throughout the nest. The cozy interior provides ample nesting space, with a slanted, overhanging roof directing water away from the box as it protects against outdoor elements, while gaps on each side panel just below the roof serve to prevent overheating and facilitate proper air flow. One side of the unit acts as an access panel for observation and convenient seasonal cleanouts, easily opening when maintenance is required, and gaps at each corner of the interior floor allow extra drainage to keep the nest dry. A generous predator guard protects the 1.5” diameter entryway from unwanted attention from marauding animals as you hang this appealing piece using its back hanger, or you may post mount this fantastic box for alternative display.
