Fantes Cousin Gia's Italian Olivewood Risotto Spoon - 12"

Fantes Cousin Gia's Italian Olivewood Risotto Spoon with large center hole stirs and aerates rice for perfect risotto. Rice gently passes through the large center hole for a gentler stir that results in fewer broken rice kernels for a creamier consistency that's not over-starchy. The tapered edge scrapes the bottom and sides of the pot at the same time while the pointed tip reaches into corners and nooks. It easily keeps rice moving freely so it doesn't stick to the pot and burn. Cooking made beautiful, Italian olivewood has for centuries been crafted into beautiful tableware and cooking utensils for its dense, durable character, which will not absorb liquids or stain. With use and mineral oil maintenance, its grain and color will darken over time into a rich, golden patina. The natural characteristics of olivewood create a unique grain pattern that varies from piece to piece. Fantes Italian Olivewood cooking utensils are strong, durable, nonporous, non-absorbent, won't stain, and won't scratch non-stick and enameled cookware. They're hand washable. Avoid prolonged soaking and occasionally coat with mineral oil to keep olivewood looking its best. Fante's, the Italian Market Original since 1906.
