Couple Picnic Sunset

Two Figures in a Field of GoldA couple sits close on a blanket in a wildflower meadow, drawn as clean line outlines against a painted world of warm oil color. Behind them the hills roll toward a low sun that spills amber and rose across the sky. A single oak stands to the right. Birds scatter overhead. The mix of sketched figures and lush, buttery brushwork gives the scene a soft, dreamlike quiet, romantic without being sentimental. Line-drawn figures rest inside a field of oil-painted wildflowers and warm light. It's tender, unhurried, and easy to sit with.
