One that stacks up instead of out. A two-tier rack like this one holds about twice the cups of a flat tray in the same counter space, and the drain liners mean it works for wet mugs too. How do you display mugs on a counter? Group them in one place with a defined edge. A raised-rim tray keeps the set looking tidy, and two levels let you put everyday mugs on top and teacups below. What is the best way to store mugs in the kitchen? Keep the ones you use daily within reach of the kettle or coffee maker, and store them upside down while they dry. Cabinet space can go to the mugs you rarely use. Can I put wet cups on it? Yes. Set rinsed cups upside down on the slotted liners. Water collects underneath, and the liners slide out to be rinsed. Does it need tools to put together? No complex tools. The metal posts fit between the two trays. Our mugs used to live wherever they landed. Now they have a corner. — Lisa, Strabella
