Corvette Window Stop Bracket. Front Upper Convertible: 1963-1967

Restore authentic window operation on your Corvette with this Front Upper Window Stop Bracket, precisely engineered for 1963–1967 Corvette Convertibles. This small, essential piece anchors the glass as it travels, helping maintain a clean seal, quiet ride, and reliable performance from your vintage convertible. Key benefits and what it solves Exact fit for the front upper window frame on 1963–1967 Corvette Convertibles, ensuring the correct travel limit and smooth, precise movement of the glass. Prevents overtravel and misalignment that can stress the window regulator, reduce seal integrity, and cause rattles over time. Preserves the original weather seal with the top and cowl, minimizing wind noise and water leakage for a comfortable drive, whether cruising or on open highways. Durable, purposebuilt design that withstands heat, humidity, and road vibration typical of classic car use, keeping your window operation dependable season after season. Compatibility and installation This window stop bracket is a direct replacement for the front upper window stop on 1963–1967 Corvette Convertibles. It’s designed to drop into the same mounting points as the original part, allowing installation with common hand tools and standard interior trim reassembly. Use it during a targeted window hardware refresh or as part of a broader restoration to restore genuine fit and function. Practical use cases During a full interior restoration of a mid1960s Corvette Convertible, replace worn window stops to restore accurate glass alignment and sealing. Address window rattle or misalignment caused by a degraded front upper window stop, returning the window to its proper travel and feel. Maintain authentic driving experience on vintage tours or show setups by ensuring the window operates as the designer intended. Care and maintenance tips Inspect the bracket during routine checks of window hardware. If you notice increased play or misalignment, replacing the stop can renew smooth operation. For longevity, avoid forcing the glass and keep surrounding tracks clean; a light, nongreasing lubricant on moving contact points can help preserve consistency of movement.
