Corvette Trailing Arm Bushing Installation Tool.: 1963-1982

Designed for classic Corvettes from 1963 through 1982, the Corvette Trailing Arm Bushing Installation Tool is a purposebuilt solution that makes rear suspension maintenance straightforward and reliable. By centering and supporting bushings as you press them into the trailing arm, this tool helps prevent misalignment, damaged mounting bosses, and timeconsuming rework. What makes this tool stand out Precisionfit alignment: engineered to match the bushing’s outer diameter and shoulder geometry for a square, true installation every time. Centering shoulders and axial design: guides the bushing straight into the bore, reducing cocking or tilting during press fits. Durable construction: built from robust steel with a protective finish to withstand repeated use in home garages and professional shops. Modelspecific compatibility: tailored for 1963–1982 Corvette trailing arm bushings, covering the most common restoration window. Versatile for DIY and pro environments: a practical upgrade whether you’re a weekend hobbyist restoring a vintage Vette or a shop performing rearend rebuilds. Why you’ll value it on your project Rough, improvised installations can shatter the bushing and create sloppy suspension alignment. This tool delivers controlled, axial force, minimizing damage and ensuring the trailing arm sits correctly with the chassis. The result is cleaner installs, less rework, and a more accurate alignment that translates to better handling and ride quality on your classic Corvette. How to use in a few simple steps Prepare the trailing arm and bushing surfaces, cleaning any debris or old lubricant. Position the bushing on the tool, aligning it with the bore. Assemble the press components and apply steady, straight pressure until the bushing bottoms out. Reassemble the suspension and verify proper torque and alignment per factory specifications. Who should consider this tool Ideal for owners restoring 1963–1982 Corvettes, automotive technicians specializing in classic suspensions, and shops that perform rearend service on vintage American muscle. If you want a dedicated, reliable method for installing trailing arm bushings without compromise, this tool is purposebuilt for your needs.
