Installation guidance and best practices Begin by safely removing the seat to access the track release rivet areas. Inspect the old rivets and surrounding hardware for wear or damage; replace any compromised components as needed for a proper rebuild. Align the new rivets with the existing holes, then set with a rivet gun or hand riveter following standard riveting techniques for metal seat hardware. Test the seat track release several times to confirm smooth operation and secure seating. Recheck after a short drive to ensure nothing loosens under normal use.
