Corvette Rear Control Arm Bushing Set. Polyurethane: 1963-1982

Transform your classic Corvette’s ride and precision with this Polyurethane Rear Control Arm Bushing Set, engineered for 1963–1982 models. This complete kit brings the rear suspension back into proper alignment, replacing worn bushings with a material that resists wear and maintains geometry under load. The kit includes 4 bushings, 2 sleeves, and 4 washers, designed to service both rear arms on your Corvette. Why choose polyurethane for your Corvette? Polyurethane bushings strike a balance between durability and performance. They’re stiffer than OE rubber, which reduces compliant movement in the rear control arms and translates into: Sharper steering response and improved directional stability Better resilience under hard acceleration and cornering, minimizing arm deflection Longer service life and resistance to oil, road salt, and heat compared with traditional rubber Note: While polyurethane improves suspension control, you may notice a firmer ride compared with stock rubber. This tradeoff is appreciated by drivers seeking more confidence at the limit or during spirited driving. What’s included and fitment 4 polyurethane rear control arm bushings 2 sleeves 4 washers Fits both rear control arms on 1963–1982 Corvettes Ideal use cases Restoration projects that want authentic performance with modern durability Performanceoriented street driving, weekend autocross, or light track days Vehicles with aging or degraded OE bushings requiring reliable, longlasting performance Installation and care tips For best results, prepare the mounting surfaces by cleaning and inspecting the control arms, lubricate with a silicone or polyurethanecompatible grease, and reinstall with proper torque specifications. After installation, recheck wheel alignment to ensure optimal handling and tire wear. Regular inspection every season will help catch any wear early and keep your Corvette tracking true. What makes this kit stand out Unlike generic rubber replacements, this kit uses highquality polyurethane designed for classic Corvettes, delivering a noticeable upgrade in handling precision and durability while maintaining the vehicle’s original suspension geometry. It’s a practical upgrade for drivers who want a more planted feel without a complete suspension overhaul.
