Corvette Park Brake Cable Equalizer.: 1964-1982

Restore confident, reliable parking brake performance on your classic Corvette with the 1964–1982 Park Brake Cable Equalizer. This directfit component is engineered to preserve the original braking geometry, ensuring both rear cables pull in harmony for a firm hold and a clean release every time. Why this matters On older Corvette models, uneven cable pull can cause the parking brake to grab, drag, or fail to hold on inclines. The Park Brake Cable Equalizer is designed to balance tension between the two parking brake cables, so you get predictable engagement, smoother operation, and longer life from the rest of your braking system. Key benefits you’ll notice Exactfit compatibility for 1964–1982 Corvette models, aligning with factory mounting points and cable routing for a seamless restoration. Durable construction built from rugged steel with a protective finish to resist corrosion in typical driving conditions. Balanced cable tension ensures both rear cables engage evenly, improving hold on inclines and reducing drag when released. Restored pedal feel maintains original pedal travel and predictable parking brake operation, just like when the car was new. Directfit replacement simplifies installation without complex modifications or guesswork. Who this is for Ideal for classic Corvette enthusiasts, restorers, and weekend drivers who want authentic function restoration without compromising original geometry. If you’re rebuilding a vintage parking brake system or renewing aged components for a safer, more reliable drive, this equalizer is a key piece of the puzzle.
