Corvette A-Arm Bushing Set. 8 Piece Upper/Lower: 1963-1982

Revitalize the front end of your classic Corvette with the Corvette AArm Bushing Set an 8piece rubber upper/lower kit designed for 1963–1982 models. This complete replacement ensures the front suspension maintains its intended geometry, delivering a more consistent ride and handling that stays true to the car’s original character. What’s included 8 rubber Aarm bushings (upper and lower) for the front suspension on both sides Why rubber matters on a vintage Corvette Maintains authentic ride quality: Rubber bushings provide a compliant, quieter ride that mirrors the feel of the factory setup, reducing harshness without sacrificing control. Consistent steering feel: Replacing worn bushings helps restore precise steering response and predictable feedback through corners and straightaways. Noise and vibration reduction: Fresh rubber dampens road irregularities, resulting in fewer clunks and less NVH transfer to the cabin. Easy on the drivetrain: Properly cushioned mounting minimizes unwanted movement that can lead to alignment shifts during everyday driving. Who this is for Ideal for restoration projects, weekend wrenching, or a full frontend refresh on 1963–1982 Corvettes. If you’re rebuilding the front suspension to restore original ride and handling characteristics, this 8piece rubber set provides a straightforward, complete replacement for both upper and lower Aarms. Realworld use cases During a full frontend rebuild, replacing all Aarm bushings as part of restoring steering accuracy and ride quality. For owners upgrading a previously rebuilt front suspension who want OEMstyle rubber performance rather than polyurethane stiffness. In daily driving or cruiserfocused setups where a balanced, quiet ride matters as much as classic handling. Installation notes and tips Expect a typical frontend bushing replacement workflow: lift the vehicle, remove the wheels, and replace the bushings with standard hand tools and basic suspension references. For best results, inspect surrounding components (bolts, arms, and brackets) for wear and address any additional wear during the same service interval. After installation, recheck alignment to maintain optimal steering geometry and tire contact with the road. Compared to alternatives While some modern performance bushings prioritize stiffness, this set uses a premium rubber compound tailored for classic Corvette driving characteristics. It emphasizes authenticity of ride and quiet operation, making it a fitting choice for restorations and for enthusiasts seeking the authentic frontend feel of 1963–1982 Vettes.
