Corpo Celeste dvd

Corpo Celeste - 2011 italian film directed by Alice Rohrwacher. Thirteen year-old Marta has recently moved back to southern Italy with her mother and older sister after living in Switzerland for 10 years. She is left to her own devices while her loving but worn-out mother toils away at aan industrial bakery.  She struggles to find her place, restlessly testing the boundaries of an unfamiliar city and the catechism of the Catholic church. She quickly sees through the hypocrisy of the priest, who cares more about status than about his constituents. Stars Vle Vianello, Salvatore Cantalupo and Pasqualina Scuncia. 99 minutes, unrated but there is a single fleeting instance of nudity of Marta when she gets her first period. In Italian with optional English subtitles.
