Creme Brulee Coreopsis

Creme Brulee Coreopsis | Nature Hills Sweet as dessert and just as irresistible, the Creme Brulee Coreopsis (Coreopsis 'Creme Brulee') brings a buttery burst of sunshine to your garden beds! This native perennial from the Tickseed family is beloved for its fine-textured thread-leaf foliage and soft, creamy-yellow blooms that dance on the breeze for months. Expect nonstop flower power from late spring through fall, with petals that flutter like little rays of joy, just like its namesake, Crème Brûlée. A refined twist on native Tickseed and native Threadleaf Coreopsis, this hardy perennial boasts larger blooms and a lush, mounding habit that stays tidy and full. Each flower is a soft buttery yellow, accented by deeper tones at the center, adding depth and warmth to sunny borders. The airy, fernlike foliage sways gracefully and contrasts beautifully with sturdy perennials like Coneflowers or Daylilies. Plus, it's drought-tolerant, deer-resistant, and highly adaptable to tough soils. Native to the American plains and grasslands, Crème Brûlée Coreopsis has long been admired for its resilience and wildlife value. Its name comes from the Greek "koris," meaning bug, a nod to its seed shape that feeds songbirds through fall. A true favorite of Ma Nature and pollinators alike, this tough-as-nails perennial proves that beauty and endurance go hand in hand.
