Core Bore mounted drill motors—like the Diamond Products CB733, CB744, and CB515—are engineered to tackle large-diameter holes in reinforced concrete with ease. Whether you’re running handheld core drills or using drill rigs on job sites, these motors provide unmatched performance. What Are Core Bore Mounted Drill Motors? Simply put, Core Bore mounted drill motors are heavy-duty electric or hydraulic motors that serve as the driving engine for coring operations. Unlike handheld motors, mounted versions attach to drill rigs, allowing stable, powerful drilling into hard materials. These motors typically connect to a water cooling system and support wet coring—essential for managing heat and silica dust during drilling   Main Benefits of Core Bore Mounted Motors 1. Precision & Stability Mounted motors eliminate operator fatigue and human error—providing consistent pressure and straight cores through thick, dense concrete. 2. Power for Large-Diameter Cores These motors handle 12″–18″ cores with ease—ideal for utility penetrations, plumbing, fixtures, and HVAC installations. 3. Built-in Safety Features Features like amp meters, overload protection, and slip clutches safeguard both user and machine during demanding jobs. 4. Wet Core Compatibility Water connections integrated into every model ensure efficient cooling, dust suppression, and compliance with OSHA standards.
