The high acidity results in a rather sharp oil that is rich in flavor and has a sweet aroma. Season: Early. Use: Oil and Table. Can reach 20-40 ft. tall if given the opportunity with a 15-25 ft canopy. This will shade a corner of your yard in beautiful silvery-evergreen foliage. These drought-tolerant trees require minimal watering once established. The fruit is on the smaller side and has a tiny pit. Self-Fertile Spanish variety, but will benefit greatly from other pollinators like Frantoio, Leccino, Maurino, Moraiolo and Pendolino. USDA Grow Zones 8-11 & can tolerate temperatures as low as 15°F once established.
