A Prayer for Peace

About this Image:Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. -John 14:27 I wanted this painting to have feeling & emotion as He prays and thinks on all of His people. He has felt all of it FOR us, physically, emotionally & spiritually so He could feel WITH us. And when I look at what people are going through right now in the world, I can’t even begin to fathom how this can be made right or if that’s even possible. I won’t say more about it because it’s too much and too heavy and honestly, I don’t have words for it and people don’t look to me for words. But I wanted to offer this for whoever it would help. I do know that people turn to art when they need peace or to make sense of things. I love and am grateful for this platform to share what I do.
