The round moissanite The center is a lab-grown moissanite — round brilliant, 6mm, ~1ct, D color, VVS1 clarity, 9–9.25 Mohs — with a GRA certificate. Moissanite isn't a diamond; it's a distinct gem with even more fire, at a fraction of the price and with a sustainable lab origin. Our post on whether moissanite is a lab-grown diamond explains the difference. This listing is for the ring; a matching band can be custom made to order. Choose your gold: 10K, 14K, or 18K solid rose gold This ring is solid rose gold — the metal itself, not plating or vermeil over a base metal — with your karat selected from the drop-down menu. 10K is the most durable and most affordable; 14K is the classic everyday balance (our default); 18K carries the highest gold content and the richest warm-pink hue. The warm metal gives the classic halo a romantic twist, and the color is permanent: it won't wear off and won't turn your skin green. Our karat comparison guide breaks down the differences. Halo engagement ring FAQs What is a halo setting?A halo is a ring of small accent stones set around the center stone. It frames the center, makes it look larger, and adds a continuous circle of sparkle. Which metal should I choose — 10K, 14K, or 18K?All are solid rose gold: 10K is the hardest-wearing and most affordable, 14K is the popular everyday balance, and 18K has the highest gold content and richest warm-pink hue. Select your choice from the drop-down. Is the center a real diamond? No — it's a lab-grown moissanite (round, ~1ct, D/VVS1), stated clearly, with a GRA certificate. Moissanite is its own gem with more fire than diamond at a far lower price. Is this real solid rose gold?Yes. The ring is solid rose gold throughout in your chosen karat — the metal itself, not plating or vermeil. The color is permanent, won't wear off, and won't turn skin green. Is it durable enough for daily wear?Yes — moissanite is 9–9.25 on the Mohs scale, very hard and well suited to daily engagement-ring wear. How long does it take to make?Made to order — please allow about 3–5 weeks. Requested modifications may adjust the timeline, and we'll confirm everything before production begins.
