Copper Roller Elliptical Full Cheek

The Copper Roller Elliptical Full Cheek Bit combines a copper roller double-jointed mouthpiece with full cheek cheekpieces. The elliptical center link reduces palate pressure and helps distribute pressure more evenly over the tongue and bars. Copper rollers encourage salivation and make it harder for the horse to lean or grab the bit. The full cheek cheekpieces help prevent the bit from sliding and provide clear lateral guidance. This bit is ideal for horses that benefit from a more mobile mouthpiece while still needing clear directional guidance and a consistent, steady connection. Double Jointed Features : Even Pressure Distribution: The two joints with a center link reduce palate pressure and distributes contact more evenly across the tongue, bars, and corners of the mouth. Tongue Pressure Variation: The size and shape of the center link influence how much tongue pressure is applied, making it adaptable for horses with different mouth conformations. Greater Mobility: The design allows the mouthpiece to move more freely than a single joint, improving comfort and reducing resistance in many horses. Copper Roller Features : Salivation Stimulation : The copper roller encourages salivation, helping maintain a moister, more receptive mouth. Tongue Engagement : The movable roller invites the horse to interact with the bit using its tongue, which may improve attention and mouthing. Discourages Grabbing or Leaning : The roller’s movement can make it harder for the horse to lock against or lean on the bit, promoting more supple contact. Full Cheek Design Features : Enhanced Stability : The full cheek design prevents the bit from sliding through the horse’s mouth, providing more stable lateral guidance. Direct Contact : The extended cheekpieces offer more direct cues, helping horses maintain better balance and stay on track. Encourages Responsiveness : The full cheek bit design promotes consistent, gentle guidance, making it easier for the horse to stay engaged and responsive during rides.
