Copper Roller Elliptical Eggbutt

The Copper Roller Elliptical Eggbutt Bit combines a copper roller double-jointed mouthpiece with eggbutt cheekpieces. The elliptical center link reduces palate pressure and helps distribute pressure more evenly over the tongue and bars. Copper rollers encourage salivation and make it harder for the horse to lean or grab the bit. Eggbutt cheekpieces prevent the bit from pinching at the corners of the mouth and provide a consistent feel. This bit is ideal for horses that benefit from a more mobile mouthpiece while still needing clear guidance and a consistent, steady connection. Double Jointed Features : Even Pressure Distribution: The two joints with a center link reduce palate pressure and distributes contact more evenly across the tongue, bars, and corners of the mouth. Tongue Pressure Variation: The size and shape of the center link influence how much tongue pressure is applied, making it adaptable for horses with different mouth conformations. Greater Mobility: The design allows the mouthpiece to move more freely than a single joint, improving comfort and reducing resistance in many horses. Copper Roller Features : Salivation Stimulation : The copper roller encourages salivation, helping maintain a moister, more receptive mouth. Tongue Engagement : The movable roller invites the horse to interact with the bit using its tongue, which may improve attention and mouthing. Discourages Grabbing or Leaning : The roller’s movement can make it harder for the horse to lock against or lean on the bit, promoting more supple contact. Eggbutt Design Features: Prevents Pinching : The fixed cheekpieces reduce the risk of pinching at the corners of the mouth, making it ideal for sensitive horses. Stable Connection : The eggbutt shape minimizes movement in the mouth, providing a consistent feel and reducing excessive bit movement. Encourages Steady Contact : The fixed rings promote a stable and even connection, making it a great option for horses that need confidence in the contact.
