Copper Roller Elliptical D

The Copper Roller Elliptical D Bit combines a copper roller double-jointed mouthpiece with D-ring cheekpieces. The elliptical center link reduces palate pressure and helps distribute pressure more evenly over the tongue and bars. Copper rollers encourage salivation and make it harder for the horse to lean or grab the bit. The D-ring cheekpieces prevent the bit from sliding and add lateral support. This bit is ideal for horses that benefit from a more mobile mouthpiece while still needing clear guidance and a consistent, steady connection. Double Jointed Features : Even Pressure Distribution: The two joints with a center link reduce palate pressure and distributes contact more evenly across the tongue, bars, and corners of the mouth. Tongue Pressure Variation: The size and shape of the center link influence how much tongue pressure is applied, making it adaptable for horses with different mouth conformations. Greater Mobility: The design allows the mouthpiece to move more freely than a single joint, improving comfort and reducing resistance in many horses  Copper Roller Features : Salivation Stimulation : The copper roller encourages salivation, helping maintain a moister, more receptive mouth. Tongue Engagement : The movable roller invites the horse to interact with the bit using its tongue, which may improve attention and mouthing. Discourages Grabbing or Leaning : The roller’s movement can make it harder for the horse to lock against or lean on the bit, promoting more supple contact. D-Ring Design Features: Lateral Stability : The fixed D-shaped rings provide lateral stability, preventing the bit from sliding through the horse’s mouth and offering more precise control during turns. Direct Communication : The D-Ring allows for a more stable and direct connection between the rider's hands and the horse’s mouth, making it suitable for horses that need clearer guidance and more consistent contact. Gentle Guidance : While providing stability, the D-Ring design ensures smooth and gentle communication between horse and rider, encouraging responsiveness without discomfort.
