Copper Rings Correction Loose Ring

The Copper Rings Correction Loose Ring Bit features a stainless steel mouthpiece with copper rings and a low-profile port. The copper rings promote salivation and mouthing, helping maintain a relaxed jaw and softer contact. The low correction port allows moderate tongue relief, supports balanced head carriage, and directs pressure evenly across the bars and palate when engaged. The loose ring cheekpieces promote a softer feel by allowing the bit to move freely, preventing the horse from leaning or becoming rigid in the contact.  Ideal for horses that benefit from tongue relief, mobile mouthpiece, and a bit that encourages acceptance. Key Features of the Copper Rings Mouthpiece : Salivation Stimulation : The copper rings naturally encourage salivation, supporting a moister, more receptive mouth. Encourages Mouthing : Horses are more likely to play with the bit, which helps maintain a relaxed jaw and softer contact. Prevents Leaning : The mobile copper rings discourage the horse from taking hold of the bit or leaning on it, supporting lighter, more responsive contact. Key Features of the Low Correction Port : Moderate Tongue Relief : The low port design allows some space for the tongue while still maintaining contact, offering a balance between relief and control. Supports Balanced Head Carriage : The shape of the port encourages correct head positioning without excessive force, helping to refine the horse’s way of going. Controlled Pressure Distribution : The low port reduces tongue pressure while directing contact toward the bars and, when engaged, may apply slight pressure to the palate for refined rein influence. Loose Ring Design Features : Increased Flexibility : The loose ring design allows the bit rings to move independently, minimizing pressure on the horse’s mouth and encouraging relaxation. Adaptive Control : The strength and effectiveness of the bit vary depending on factors such as material, thickness, and overall design. Pinch Prevention : For horses with sensitive mouth corners, rubber bit rings can be added to prevent pinching and increase comfort.
