This 100% pure Copper Mixing Bowl features thick stainless steel handles for a firm grip and solid copper for durability. There is nothing finer for whipping your eggs! This bowl design is based on the Famous French Omelette house, Madame Poulard's, that has been serving omelettes for over 100 years to travelers on their pilgrimage to Mont Saint-Michel, France.  **Please note: Sertodo has updated the design of the handles and are currently having the new bowls photographed for the website! The new handles are their patented wire technique that is currently used for their cookware. Great for whipping eggs, and mixing batters such as pancakes or crepes, bread and baked goods. Not for mixing or tossing salads.  The acidity in many fruits, vegetables, and salad dressings will interact with the copper and turn your salad blue or green if left in there for a bit and your salad will taste like it's tossed with copper wires!
