Copper & Kings American Apple Brandy 750ml

Copper and Kings American Apple Brandy is a bold, characterful craft brandy from Copper and Kings American Brandy Co., the acclaimed distillery in the Butchertown neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. Built on a philosophy of doing things differently, Copper and Kings is best known for distilling exceptional brandy in the heart of bourbon country, and this apple brandy is a flagship of that vision. It is distilled exclusively from apple wine fermented from fresh pressed apple juice, drawn from a blend of culinary and cider apples, in traditional Vendome American copper pot stills, then double distilled for purity and depth of flavor. The spirit is matured in Kentucky bourbon barrels and new American white oak, which lend it warm vanilla, caramel, and baking spice to complement the bright, natural fruit. True to the distillery's purist approach, it is unadulterated, with no added boise or oak infusion, no added apple flavors or essences, and no added sugar, and it is left non chill filtered for added body, a rich mouthfeel, and a naturally deep honey color. Bottled at 90 proof, it pours a warm amber and offers an expressive nose of fresh baked apple, caramel, and gentle spice. The palate is layered and lightly dry, with caramelized apple, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg over a smooth oak backbone, leading to a crisp, complex finish. Versatile and delicious, it can be enjoyed neat, swapped in for bourbon in an Old Fashioned or your favorite whiskey cocktail, or lengthened into a refreshing brandy highball.
