Brutalesque Coffee Table

Manufacturer Coordination Berlin Designer Flip Sellin  Drawing inspiration from Brutalist Architecture, the Brutalesque sofa table plays with simple materials structurally composed to result in an intelligent, light and transparent construction. A square pipe is turned by 45° and joined in mitred corners to become a square frame. Round slender column feet, set back from the corner points architecturally elevate the elegant outline. The touch-points with the architecture are accentuated with hand turned solid brass cylinders. Through the 45° turn of the framing material, a tempered glass with a 45° edge rests within it naturally and a unique character piece is created. The hand crafted object is a light, almost elegantly flying center-piece to any contemporary sofa setting.
