Sweet Zzz Cooling Mattress Protector

Cooling Mattress Protector Breathable Waterproof Barrier The hydrophilic fibers of the Tencel always wick the moisture away from your skin. This means that the cover remains extremely breathable during the night and doesn't promote overheating. Protects Against Allergens & Dust Mites Dust mites require 2 things to thrive; a humid environment, and a reliable food source. The waterproof barrier prevents dead skin cells to pass, stopping the food source while the Tencel hydrophilic fibers keep the cover dry and cool. This presents dust mites with an inhabitable environment reducing allergies and skin irritations caused by them. Care What are the care instructions? Machine wash cold on the gentle cycle. Both also use the same exact high-quality materials like 100% natural eucalyptus. The difference between them is the coverage being offered. The Tencel Protector fits more like a fitted sheet and has an elastic band skirt that fits around the mattress. It is meant to protect the top part of the mattress and is good for protection against everything from liquids to dust mites but will not protect against bed bugs. The encasement mattress protector is a zippered six-sided protector. It envelopes the mattress entirely. All sides are protected and thus it is a bed bug protector. Does your Tencel mattress encasement protect against bed bugs? Yes, our Tencel encasement mattress protector is actually designed for bed bug protection in addition to liquid and dust mite protection. It has a zipper and is good for bed bug protection since it envelopes the entire mattress. Is the mattress protector cooling? Our mattress protector cover is made from 100% natural eucalyptus-based fiber also known as Tencel. Tencel stays cooler than any other fabric because it's more breathable and moisture-wicking. This material is very commonly used by athletes because it wicks away moisture very fast compared to any other fabric. That is because Tencel has a high hydrophilic ability, which means it absorbs a lot more moisture without feeling wet. This helps keep you dry and comfortable all night long. The fabric's ability to lose just as much moisture as it absorbs into the air, helps your skin breathe naturally allowing you to enjoy a good night's sleep. Is The Sweet Zzz Tencel Protector good for sensitive skin? Yes. Tencel is a natural material made from Eucalyptus. It's breathable and helps you sleep cool during hot nights. It is soft on the skin, so much so, that it is perfect for sensitive skin and is also allergen and dust mite resistant. Will this mattress protector affect the feel of my bed? No. Our mattress protector is specifically designed to keep the same feel of the mattress without changing anything while offering protection. Is having a mattress protector actually make my mattress last longer? Or is it just for allergies? Actually, studies have shown that a mattress protector will prolong the lifespan of a mattress by up to 3 times. Dead skin and liquids going through to the mattress will cause the foam and coil of your mattress to weaken. This makes the mattress sag and in turn, becomes painful to sleep on. It is also important to note that most mattress manufacturers will void the warranty if no protector was used and call it “customer abuse”. So not only does it prolong the life of your mattress but also keeps your warranty intact.
