Pineapple Guava

The Pineapple Guava is an evergreen shrub or small tree valued for its ornamental appeal and flavorful fruit. It features elliptical, silvery-green leaves with a slightly downy texture, and in spring, it produces showy, fleshy, and red-tinged flowers with prominent stamens. The unique, egg-shaped fruit that follows is typically green and grows to about 2 to 4 inches in length. When ripe, the thin, edible skin reveals a sweet and aromatic, granular-textured flesh with flavors reminiscent of pineapple, guava, and mint. The Pineapple Guava is prized for its adaptability to various climates, making it a popular choice in gardens and landscapes.
