Pro Tips Regularly flush your cooling system every 45,000 miles or every 4 years to maintain optimal performance and remove contaminants. Check all coolant system components, including expansion tanks, hoses, and fittings, during service intervals. Maintain a 50:50 coolant-to-water mixture for standard applications; adjust the ratio for race or high-temperature environments to improve heat transfer as needed. Consult a professional when modifying coolant mixtures or performing cooling system upgrades to ensure proper engine temperature regulation.
