Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Begin by selecting a location that offers well-draining soil and receives partial to full sunlight. Dig a hole that is slightly larger than the root ball of the plant and gently place it in, burying the roots and firming the soil around it to eliminate air pockets. 2. Watering: These pansies prefer consistently moist soil, especially during the initial establishment period. Water regularly, allowing the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings, as over-watering can lead to root rot. 3. Pruning: Deadheading spent flowers will encourage continuous blooming and keep your plants looking tidy. You can also trim back any overly long stems that may detract from the plant's overall appearance. 4. Fertilizing: In ground, plant with a slow release balanced fertilizer. In containers, Feed Cool Wave Pansies with a balanced fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during their growing season. This will promote healthy growth and vibrant blooms throughout both spring and autumn.
