Cookbook holder stand made from walnut and maple

This maple and walnut cookbook holder stand will make an excellent addition to any kitchen. There are walnut boards on either side, with a maple board in the middle to provide excellent color contrast. The panels are all 1/2 inch thick. The stand is 14 inches tall, 8 1/2 wide, and will take up 7 1/4 inches of countertop depth. The cookbook holder is finished with oil and butcherblock wax. After subjection to heavy use, you can add another coat of wax. The wood is held together with waterproof glue so it can be rinsed clean, but it should not be put in a dishwasher.
