Conversation Starters For Husbands and Wives

88 Great Conversation Starters For Husbands and Wives by Rob Teigen is a fun way Christian couples can get to know each other or reconnect after decades of marriage.  Life is fluid and constantly changing. So are we. Do you still like the same restaurant you liked when you were first married? Do you still follow the same routines? This box of conversation starters will help you discover who your partner is and rediscover who they have become. It's a great way to see how far you have come as a couple and how you have grown.  The cards are housed in a black, lidded cardboard box. Cards alternate between black and red backgrounds with all text printed in white.  Each card is numbered so you can keep track of what you've asked.  Each of the 88 conversation starter cards has a question and an accompanying Scripture verse or quote that is sure to spark some lively conversation and lots of laughter. But don't stop at just answering the questions. Hone your conversation skills by asking follow-up questions, like why, when, or how it makes you feel. These cards are only intended to help you start a conversation—it's up to you to continue it. The Scripture verses and quotes on the cards are meant for encouragement and can even be used for further discussion.  Break out of the mold of talking about work and the children, take your spouse on a date, look her in the eye, and ask her what really matters to her or what she really desires and plans for. Reconnect on a deep emotional level (seasoned with a bit of fun and laughter) when you open up, become vulnerable, and allow each other to see your hopes, dreams, and regrets. How much you get out of this exercise is up to you, but the old adage holds true: what you get out of it is equal to what you put into it.  The 88 Great Conversation Starters For Husbands and Wives is a great size to fit into a stocking stuffer or to take with you on a date night. Give the gift of your time and attention when you give the 88 Great Conversation Starters For Husbands and Wives as part of a birthday or anniversary gift!
