ConvaTec Kaltostat Calcium Sodium Alginate Dressing, Sterile, Rectangle

ConvaTec Kaltostat Calcium Sodium Alginate Dressing, RectangleThe ConvaTec Kaltostat Calcium Sodium Alginate Dressing is a soft, sterile wound dressing made from calcium-sodium alginate fiber. When it comes into contact with wound fluid, the fiber converts into a firm, cohesive gel/fiber mat that helps create an optimal moist wound healing environment while managing drainage. This rectangular alginate dressing is designed to absorb exudate from moderately to heavily draining wounds and can also help control minor bleeding at the wound site. It is nonadhesive, making it gentle to apply and easier to remove without disturbing fragile new tissue, which can help reduce patient discomfort during dressing changes. Kaltostat is available in multiple sizes — 3" x 4.75" and 4" x 8" — so you can choose the option that best fits the wound area; simply select your preferred size above. This dressing is commonly used by clinicians and caregivers for surgical wounds, pressure ulcers, and other wounds with moderate to heavy exudate.
