Contender Peach Tree

Contender Peach Trees (Prunus persica 'Contender') are known for their cold hardiness. This fruit tree produces fragrant, pink blossoms in early spring that compliment the tree's green foliage nicely. Soon after the flowers blossom, this tree will produce a heavy crop of medium-sized, reddish-yellow fruits, typically ripening in summer. Their peaches are juicy and sweet and are perfect for canning or eating fresh. In the fall, this tree will produce beautiful fall interest with deep yellow foliage. Contender Peach Trees are self-pollinating and form a rounded crown with upwardly reaching branches that look beautiful in any garden.
